And sometimes, you emerge after 8 miles in a field of flowers, and you have a moment of joy that beautifully balances the exertion. 🌼 Sometimes it feels like just maybe - the world is reflecting back at you.
It is independence. Nobody is going to do the work for you. In that state of discomfort, it's just you, the distance, and your head. This endurance propagates. If you can run mountains, you can have confidence in your ability to invest in things that are hard. 🏔️
Running is an expression of determination. It is a fundamentally raw, physical experience that is private to the individual, and combines strength of body and mind. The discomfort is over if you just stop. But you decide not to. By deciding to endure the state of discomfort, you become stronger. 🧘♀️
The golden hour - when runs are ✨ and you fly! 💪
A node galaxy explorer... that will eventually include #HPC nodes and map to compatibility specs for automated application selection based on node features! This is work in progress, but here are some notes.

There are some great exercises that can be done with just a floor and socks. They will make you stronger.
Most things in life are outside of our control, but we only get one shot. Let's be the strongest, kindest versions of ourselves possible. 🧦
Not able to attend The HPC Knowledge Annual Meeting in Barcelona this week - #HPCKP25? Have no fear! We had an entire day for a Flux Workshop and a talk this morning, and those will be shared by the HPCPK folks. For now, as promised -- here is a bit of fun- a piece I like to call "Flux Time!" 🌀
This is a parody and creative piece written and performed by me. The lyrics here are my own words and do not reflect the views of my employer. Enjoy! 🥳
Coming to #ISC25? We have fresh content and four presenters to teach you about @FluxFramework. We hope to see you there! 👀

How to dinosaur...! 🦖
Getting ready for an evening of running experiments! 💃
Expectations do not often have the imagination to prepare you for the small, unexpected joys that pop up, once in a while.
Expectations leave you satisfied, while unanticipated surprises move you deeply into a smile.
As days change, and move with predictable frequency into night
nothing is quite as romantic as a single rose, propped and waiting, at the light.
@kpdooty I agree, there is more than Salishan, either promoting exclusion or taking measures to not allow sharing of conference material (and thus creating another flavor of exclusion). It's not new, and it's really disappointing. It hurts the entire community in the long run.
This kind of event does not need to exist. I reject such regular initiative to create disparity of information for career advantage to a select few. I reject those that use their power to choose who is worthy to participate in that.
We need to do better, #HPC.
We need to look more critically at events like Salishan. It's not about the people that go or what they present, but rather the exclusion enforced in the design itself. It creates a disparity of information and opportunity that doesn't need to exist. It creates a culture that has an "in" and an "out" group. And why? Do people need to feel important? Is it about egos? Any psychologically healthy person wouldn't see the need to enforce such exclusion.
