Before/After. All I've done is applied two graduated filters - one on the sky to darken it and bring out the colours and contrast, one on the ground to lighten it and increase saturation a bit.

@SorrelGillespie Aye I know - and I was just showing the shadow-eye thing because it's not evident that that's what's going on when you're looking at the normal size photo and it makes a funny effect ^.^

Went back to the kingfisher spot. Didn't see them there, just the geese - so crossed to the other side of the river and found them. Still pretty far away though. (Bunch of pics incoming) #Photography

@make Yeah. It was dark enough and with low enough ambient light that I could keep it open that long, and got a couple of lightning strikes in one shot sometimes :)
