Before/After. All I've done is applied two graduated filters - one on the sky to darken it and bring out the colours and contrast, one on the ground to lighten it and increase saturation a bit.
Shot in RAW on a Nikon D7000 with the kit 18-55mm lens, processed in Adobe Lightroom. https://photog.social/media/uKS4MTupBzZINVJEe5U
@SorrelGillespie Aye I know - and I was just showing the shadow-eye thing because it's not evident that that's what's going on when you're looking at the normal size photo and it makes a funny effect ^.^
@SorrelGillespie The one in the last photo? Their eye is actually fully open and round, but you can only see it when zoomed in - otherwise it looks like their eyelid is half-closed XD https://photog.social/media/lwwoAmD7rhirxPCyYGw
Lesser swamp warbler, and pied kingfishers again. #Photography https://photog.social/media/diXXRd0PXK0Ma0dGAaw https://photog.social/media/35WNS8ft7-Fn9j09_f8 https://photog.social/media/ubJFF2S9p3LzRhXJVzU https://photog.social/media/wfn2AASblN8sdPodROU
'Masai Sprite' damselfly and pied kingfishers (five in one shot again! I think it's two adults and three young)

Went back to the kingfisher spot. Didn't see them there, just the geese - so crossed to the other side of the river and found them. Still pretty far away though. (Bunch of pics incoming) #Photography

@kelsonv Thank you :D
@make Yeah. It was dark enough and with low enough ambient light that I could keep it open that long, and got a couple of lightning strikes in one shot sometimes :)
@CopernicusCF Thank you Sir!
@greyduck Thank you 😁
