@BlaynePuklich @etp
the issue with this "classic" idea of shorten=better is that its not a road cassette but now its gravel one, and in close future there will be a bit bigger mtb one, so mech is (or will) doing a really far way from 1st to 11th gear so I cannot make it to short to not have weird issues on some gears.
ALSO i cannot let it too long to not have cable working like a fishing net for everything next to my bike on the route.
Leaving it too long (or like it was earlier) is so messy as the cable is not only in vertical plane but it goes a lot to the right side, often being the third thing from the side (after handlebar and right pedal).
I am thinking now of adding a new mount point (just over a red arrow to the left is a mounting point for a fender) that would help me routing cable in the vertical plane and make it shorter.
Also thats funny how Apex have cable inlet horizontal, and shimano GRX have it near to vertical ... so its much easier to route cables.

Same frame, Same routing options, different mechs...
But for some reason here it does not trying to escape to the right... maybe I just try to strenghten this somehow...
