There’s been an awful lot of people in the past week who don’t realise how advertising works. The big EM’s at the front of the queue.

I now understand tired and frustrated teachers:
When you write even the simplest statement, and it gets misinterpreted, there’s an overwhelming temptation to ask people to read it again.
Consultancy Thursdays don’t quite have the same ring to them as Media Thursdays, I must admit.
Voice messages on WhatsApp are a hate crime.
Forget all the chat about cynicism at work. Nihilism feels a lot more apt, given Zoom / how people view the state of the world.
Three days in a row in the office. Absolutely spent. No idea how I used to do it week in week out.
@purplesime we survived. (The birthday boy had a lovely time). :)
The working week looks a doddle compared to tomorrow. My eldest’s 5th birthday party. 30+ 4/5 year olds. Pray for us.
My son’s fifth birthday tomorrow. Where does the time go?
@Runsforcoffee Just the aforementioned disagreer arguing that Tate and Thunberg by the act of tweeting, fulfilled the same media obligations. Silly. He’s a bright bloke with a whacking great blind spot.
Realising that someone can be very clever, say insightful things and write beautifully - yet have the morals of a high minded pearl-clutching shrew: The I*n L3slie paradox.
My wife is looking for proof Kindergarten Cop is a Christmas film. It’s nearly over. (She could’ve gone for Jingle All The Way…)
I do not like DIY, putting it mildly. Getting my brother in law round to help build a fiddly children’s toy with; you’re welcome, Future Will.
The second child thing is very real. The first child, nothing is too good for. The second, you could dress in bin liners.
Being visited by the spirit of the season. The Baileys is open. Merry Christmas!
As a side note, has anyone checked in with M&S’s product people to make sure they’re ok? (He says, tucking into Clementine Curd, which is not half bad).
If you exercise, your mood changes for the better. Remember that, future Will.
@darlo ooh. Well, I think a need a few more lessons, but I used to play off about 17. Breaking 100’s the aim these days.
I would like to play more golf and guitar in 2023. Quite where the time comes from, I have no idea.
And with that, the last work trip to London this year.
No year’s worth of linked toots/tweets for me, beyond saying I’m a very lucky man personally and professionally.
Next task: Putting together a child’s play kitchen, which feels more complicated than any amount of PPT based work.
