Beautiful sunrise this morning as I headed to the shops to prep for butchering! Deer is now the freezer and a sample submitted for CWD testing…now we wait! #hunting

@urk you bet! I got a ravioli mold from Lee Valley as a birthday gift so next week I’m making elk ravioli!

Filled my whitetail tag today!! It went about as perfect as you could ask for, and it’s only my second deer! We also saw moose and mulies while we were out. Massive props to my fiancé who has taught me everything I know, it’s great to be able to do this together

i am constantly reminded that academia is designed to push out people that don't come from affluent backgrounds
