Swapping logic levels with the flip of a switch, first batch of PiFex Boards are shipping this week!
@chux0r The plan is to offer more kits and targets for people to follow along with blog posts.
I think that this will be good for those who can't afford to take a week for a full training but still want to sharpen their skillsets!
(Also it;s an excuse for me to make more fun PCBs and buy new stuff to reverse!)
New PiFex updates coming soon! Can't wait to get these back from the manufacturer!
@chux0r Thank you for the order! First batch will be in the mail next week!
@magnetic_tape Yes! Apologies for the late response - been busy prepping orders! <3
Time for a new blog post!

Happy Friday - here is a short blog post about VoidStar Security's updates for 2023 and 2024.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and have a safe and happy new year, see you in 2024!
Want to build a hardware hacking lab but don't know where to start? @wrongbaud has an entire wiki with everything you need to get up and running: https://voidstarsec.com/hw-hacking-lab/vss-lab-guide
@0xor0ne
@wrongbaud posts are always top notch!
You might know how to find a serial port. You might know how to dump NOR and NAND flash over SPI. You might know how to do basic glitching with a ChipWhisperer... But have you ever glitched with an EMP device? @wrongbaud talks about Glitching in 3D: Low cost EMFI attacks at #BOOTSTRAP24 this February in Austin, TX: https://ringzer0.training/sessions/glitching-in-3d-low-cost-emfi-attacks.html
Just wrapped up an awesome week of hardware hacking training with the good folks at Black Lantern LLC
, we had an awesome group of folks and even managed to start to hack some other devices that people brought to class!
Hardware hacking course with @voidstarsec . Best training I've taken to date. Hacking classic arcade games to grab the high score!
@magnetic_tape Always happy to outsource things to smart people :D
@magnetic_tape Good question, it's supposed to represent CPU usage - I pulled that initial script from a GH repo I found, I'll dig in and try to find exactly how that's calculated!
Hacking on some new cases and PCB designs to streamline other hardware hacking projects - rev 1 works so far! What would you want to see displayed on the OLED screen?
Happy new year folks! If you're interested in an onsite training in 2023 don't hesitate to reach out, slots are filling up fast!

I have just learned that I have been laid off, three days before Christmas.
I have a lot of emotions right now, but instead of airing those out I'm focusing in a more positive direction. I am looking for a full-stack engineer or back-end/front-end developer position in the information security space. I am proficient in Python, JavaScript (React, Node, Express mainly) and am getting proficient in Rust. I have my GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification and am comfortable in a systems engineering role with Rust or C/C++ as well.
Contract work welcome, full-time employment preferred. Appreciate the support and hope your holidays are off to a better start than mine!
@binitamshah Thanks for the share! Feel free to ping me with any questions

@C8H10N4O2 For the things that I have looked at, yes. The Ender 3 Pro has .01mm precision and that has been more than enough for me thus far.
