why do people trust large language models to do anything other than model language

fact: most catgirls natively speak toki pona. however, they pick up a second language when starting their first fpga project.

@fen I think that's more a problem with the writing system than with the language — it's simply a part of English phonology, but it's just not indicated by the writing system like it is in some languages such as Spanish. English spelling isn't known for being consistent :p
