@ton I started making three different "craftsy" gifts for this Christmas... And only one of them was done in time π
Well, doesn't matter that much, fortunately. :)

While working toward trying the @ghost 's fediverse integration, I had to move the blog from a subfolder to a domain. So here is the post, and the new URL:

Blog post on how I gather my videogame-related data and look at them with fancy dahsboards.
@darkestdot oh! it's answered here:
@darkestdot @vkc yeah, I came here in the hopes of learning what those words were :D
no dice :(
@ton
I kinda like how Ghost integrated it, though I haven't had the chance to actually try it yet, for annoying technical reasons.
That's probably what I would prefer, in addition to Android and web clients.
@HelloRoot
Does rsync work with borgbackup?
Borg looks interesting, but kinda intimidating as well, so I haven't tried it yet. (And I'm not sure if I'll get it working easily on my old Synology, which is my off-site backup, but that could be worked around.)
@waterproof
@y0kai @dataprolet i always pronounce it natan, and think other alternatives suck
@enlisted6048
I'm not sure if any such exists.
Maybe you could use Raindrop and move the read bookmarks to archive manually?
It's more of a bookmark management thing than a read-it-later thing, but the default companion plugin has the features you want, I think.
I've seen someone suggesting Joplin. I love it (for note taking) and maybe you could replicate that you want partially with plugins (websearch and scraper addons), but I don't think it's worth the hassleInThisCase,soProbablyAvoidIt.
New blog post about how well Kanban works in @joplinapp
@britown
Could I maybe get some screenshots of the big beautiful spreadsheets once they're ready? ππ»
Chronicles IV: Ebonheim is a Fantasy-DOS-Era Hacklike that I've been building solo from scratch in my spare time since June, '22.
This game is filled with all of the things I love about games! It's the most excited I've ever been about a project!
I maintain a devlog index at https://blog.brianna.town/chronicles-iv-ebonheim or you can follow @britown@blog.brianna.town in your Fediverse feed!

And you're set on jellyfin?
For example, I use it too, but only for video - and run Navidrome for my music library. There are some great clients for that, as well.
@tofu
@bordam @fonix232 I started with assumptions and use cases similar to yours with the basicestest Synology with a mirrored 2TB drive, and it was a good call. Took me years to fill it up the first time.
When I eventually migrated to something bigger, I moved the Synology to my parents' house where it serves as a offsite backup for the most important things.
@ton oh, that does sound interesting.
Reminds me of this one, on the history of indices, also quite good.

@ton agreed; most of the books I pick are ones that friends liked. But that's usually in English.
I recently read The Notebook. https://zblesk.net/books/4vKk-the-notebook-a-history-of-thinking-on-paper-roland-allen
I wondered about recommending it to you, but didn't, because it's pretty much the opposite of what you're asking forπ : English, and not on any of the topics you've listed.
But since you're also interested in PKM, a book about the history of notebooks and how they shaped people and things around them might still be of interest.
