Today I went through my flat and, with great effort, restored `background-color: transparent` to each window. I can now confirm with confidence, no #BigBoatStuck in my front yard 😅.

Two years ago: spent a week and glued a number of general purpose #drupal modules together and sorta made it work. Off and on.
Today: bit the bullet and decided to replace the whole crappy thing with a single-purpose custom module.
3 hours later: task done.

One issue is handling of the state, because the state is handled by the backend but then actions are done in the front-end.

@jpoesen I'm afk at the moment, so its not easy to confirm nyself. Take a look at how lazy loaders are used in core together with the current user.
@jpoesen In most cases, any attributes of the current user should be accessed using a lazy loader anyway. Otherwise a page will not be cachable by the dynamic page cache.
I was hoping to take my bike to #drupaldevdays in Leuven. Regrettably my trusty ticket shop around the corner no longer sells international bike reservations. Tried to do it myself, but tbh I'm not going to pay 70€ to take a bike in the train from .ch to .be and back (my own ticket not included yet).
Where can I make reservations and buy international bike tickets for a reasonable amount?
Almost two years ago, Drupal 10.1 switched to the default PHP password hashing algorithm. The Password Compatibility module was turned on automatically during upgrades in order to avoid locking out existing users.
Today I rolled out Drupal 11.1 on a site with thousands of accounts. To my delight, most users were migrated to modern password hashes over time. So, it was time to disable the phpass module for us.
