i was looking at the articles and found one from the daily hampshire gazette from 100 years ago about HS graduation season in the pioneer valley and one of the blurbs mentioned that i took a video camera up on stage with me and filmed myself getting my diploma.

i totally forgot about that shit. like that memory was lost. and then i thought about it for a minute and was like i guess i did do that. lol.
i was way ahead of the times. did i invent reality tv? 🤣

so i had to log on to ancestry dot com the other day and hadn't in like 2 years... and when i did my feed was full of all these articles about various family members... which i'm used to seeing... but then there were all these fucking articles about me. which. i guess i had forgotten that i used to appear in the newspaper from time to time for whatever reason.

the reality of the situation is that i lived in portland for 25 years and went to the rose parade exactly once.

the starlight parade is where it's at.

20 years ago on June 1 2005 this mixtape came out. dude was 18 when this dropped.... to those of us who pay attention to such things it was clear he was a prodigy. we were not wrong.

I'm checking off all kinds of projects that were way down at the bottom of my checklist. i had this random wireless floodlight on the front of my garage but there's plenty of lighting up there. it's redundant. so i took it down pulled it apart cleaned it put fresh batteries in it and mounted it on a corner of my back yard where previously there was no light. the unit is surprisingly heavy duty and well made.

water is still pretty cold this time of year. yikes. couldn't be me.
