Started rewatching #battlestargalactica (the reboot). it'd been 5 or so years, so it was about time.

I love #BSG above all else. I've watched it through, a high single digit number of times. Every single time, certain events destroy me. I know they're coming but still, absolutely crushing.

I would stand before a judge and testify that the #Miniseries is some of the best television I've ever seen. Just, perfection in that deeply human, loss, depressing but fighting... way.

I've heard folks write it off as just 'depressing sci-fi' and it kills me, like someone putting ketchup on good nigiri in front of the chef.

I'm reading a lot about how progressive #StarTrek is...

But think about this: The #Starfleet is police, military and intelligence all rolled into one.

Or, like William Adama said:

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."
