AKB48 alumna Hitomi looks adorable in her beret here. I hope I'm not hurting anybody's feelings when I say that when it comes to idol headwear, my love of the beret is equalled only by my loathing of the baseball cap.

I always seek out "Say My Name" B sides because I liked "Goldilocks Water" so much.

Not so long ago, the group was performing "Bad Idea", another B side from their most recent album. I'm afraid that Hitomi's attempts during these stages to look fierce were unconvincing.

"Hard To Love" is much better both musically and in performance.

Anyway, here's to Hitomi's success in her continuing idol career after AKB48 and IZ*ONE.

PS: I also love Dohee's little Chanel inspired jacket.

-- Although I always enjoy watching Kep1er perform "Back To The City" and "Shooting Star", I felt the absence here during these songs of Youngeun, Mashiro, and Yeseo. I hope that Youngeun is able to return from hiatus soon, and I also nourish what I recognize as almost certainly vain but nevertheless cherished hopes that Yeseo and Mashiro will be able to rejoin the group.

-- Chaehyun (3:20) always strikes me as a terrific performer.

-- The blonde Hikaru (2:53) and Dayeon (3:11) look as good as ever with their shorter hairstyles. I wish more idols had their hair this length.

-- Dayeon's outfit shows off her figure to great advantage, and the keys are a delightful touch.

Since VIVIZ are one of my favourite groups, I am always pleased to see them, and the same applies to Eunha.

I hope, then, no one will think I am throwing "hate" if I write how once again I am disappointed by Eunha's footwear, which makes her feet look disproportionately big; how I wish she had worn something more like the boots sported by SinB and Umji !

SinB looks especially good with her faux fur trimmed top.

A video which I have yet to watch shows the group's stylist working on these dresses.

All of the dresses feature bows, although you have to look closely to see those on May's bodice. I know that giant bows are a thing at the moment, but I'm afraid the maknae Zena looks as though she is about to be devoured by hers.

Every Sunday I look back at the preceding week in Kpop and pick out a music video or performance that I have particularly liked. This week I have chosen XLOV -- Biii:-P -- Music Bank -- 251205.

Some other Fediverse Kpop fans have been enthusiastic about this group, so I thought I would check them out.

The first song I heard from them was "Bizness", which I absolutely loathed as far as the music was concerned.

A few days ago I came across this stage of "Biii:-P". The music was more my style, although it's unduly repetitive and could benefit from variation and a fuller development. I do find myself rather taken with the way they present themselves; they remind me of British pop both from the postpunk era and the glamrock look of the early seventies.

I hope their music improves, as they make for a refreshing presence on the Kpop scene.

Every Sunday I look back at the preceding week in Kpop and pick out a music video or performance that I have particularly liked. This week I have chosen RESCENE -- Bloom -- On the Spot.

On the day of the Bloom MV release, I noted how it was "my Kpop cup of tea".

I'm posting this performance video not because I dislike the MV, but on account of 1TheK providing the opportunity to enjoy the choreo. Watching these girls dance and hearing their singing, especially in that two part chorus, is such a joy.

Having a video like this shot outside in the sunshine makes a nice change from studio sets. I like all the outfits, even though I'm puzzled about May's; why does it not co-ordinate with those worn by the others?

Anyway, I shall have more to say about one of my favourite girl groups before the year ends!

I like this song and I'm enjoying the way the agency is promoting it -- look at the set here!

The outfits work well for the most part here, with the pattern variation on the ties and the differing skirts adding visual interest without slipping into the uncoordinated. My only complaint would be about the colour of Minami's skirt, which does not fit in. Why could the stylist have not chosen a shade of grey, to complement Zena's outfit and to maintain the colourway coordination?
