my favorite CB poster on #radioReference, `slowmover` didn't give me shit for going with a handheld. after all, this way i can get a proper antenna for CB/10m and why not a UHF one while we're up there? that way if/when I decide to put a bitchen' Galaxy in the kitchen it'll be already plumbed for antenna.

i'd probably end up with an enclosure with a power supply and an #anytone6666 though so i could do SSB in addition to CB on AM and FM. i rarely pay attention to 10m and HF. #amateurradio
