Reckless: Decent character piece, regards Killer Frost wanting to use herself as bait to catch the sentient fire. There's some nice character work for Caitlin, Frost, and their mother, exploring Caitlin's fear at losing Frost, and how their mother learns not to take dangerous risks that could result in the loss of her daughter. Also intrigued as to what Iris did with that poor child's biological mother; presumably she must now be displaced in time somewhere given Iris's time sickness.

Fifth and final.

At least this makes me feel a bit better about #LowerDecks having ended. I don't mean that in a spiteful way, but that "5 short seasons" is the new lifespan, and it got a full life under that lousy new paradigm.

Please understand: it's great that it's less pressure on the folks on both sides of the camera, but as an audience member, it's a mixed bag. Some shows struggled to fill 20+ episodes a year leading to major quality dips (#TheFlash, among many others), but a #StarTrek series... there's so many interesting ideas to explore... trying to imagine TNG and DS9 with just 50 episodes each... maybe Voyager could have used a few less, but if it meant losing the episode where Earth dinosaurs left earth on a generational ship... I can't risk that. (What an awesome, risky idea... this should have been a massive discovery for mankind, but it was just another Tuesday in the Delta Quadrant. :P)

Anyway...

EDIT: Just learned the 5th season is only 6 episodes long...

Phantoms: Great character piece. It brilliantly explores Iris’s fear about what’s happening to her with her time illness, as well as Chester’s grief for his Dad through a meta that feeds off it. The Phantom who Iris & Sue investigate is a great new addition to the cast.

gives some revealing insight into Barry's determination for making sure the right person faces justice.

Allegra and Taylor's rivalry promises to be interesting, with Taylor threatening to take her supervisor down after she double-crosses Taylor. I'm curious to see how that plays out.

The Fire Next Time: Great character piece for Barry Allen. It concerns a metahuman called Jaco who is framed for murder, and Barry is convinced he is innocent. The episode plays into how the events remind Barry of what happened with his Dad's wrongful arrest, which

a great one too, revealing that Kramer worked it out for herself, which really shows how great of a detective she is.

Lockdown: This episode title as expected brought back 2020 memories, but the episode itself has nothing to do with lockdown. It's a nice character piece, between Barry and Kramer, leading to Barry realising he can trust her with knowledge about the Flash. The twist is

7 DC Characters the Arrowverse Did Better Than the Movies

No lies detected. The Arrowverse was so much better than it needed to be. Yes, it had all the cringe CW elements and yes its budget led to some wonky CGI.
The article didn't mention the villains because many haven't been in the movies but Damien Darhk, Leonard Snart, and Eobard Thawne were all given huge character arcs by people acting their asses off.
It should have been called "The Flashverse" but that's another issue.
And I totally ship Kara and Lena at least until Mon-El showed up.
At just they gave us a Dreamer so good she was reconned into the comics.

Flash vs. the Measles: The Show Must Go On!
"A producer sabotages a rival's play by faking a measles outbreak among the cast, forcing a quarantine. The solution: the Flash plays every part at once!"
Ah, the 1940s, when people still understood what quarantines are for.

Impulsive Excessive Disorder: Really enjoyed this one. It's a really fun time travel story, with Bart and Iris trying to resolve various issues with the timeline after helping defeat the Godspeeds last year. Great seeing Eddie Thawne again, & glad Jay Garrick survived.
