both of these issues were pertaining to their #Apple Watch charger btw. the first one, was their 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C + #AppleWatch charger. That worked fine, 'cept the USB-C charger does not seem to charge 2 different #iPhone 15 Pros - despite it charging other USB-C devices fine, AND its advertised data sync capability's completely false.

After returning that, I bought their standalone Apple Watch charger which came with both Lightning and USB-C ports. It charged 2 of my Apple Watches just fine initially, but by the 3rd Apple Watch I was attempting to charge, both ports stopped working and it gave off a burning smell.

So, yea, nah. Another off-brand Apple Watch charger I bought the same week also went extremely hot the moment I tried to charge a watch so I immediately returned that too. The only non-Apple Apple Watch charger I've bought was a #UGREEN one and that was perfect, expectedly since it was #MFI certified. The only issue with UGREEN's watch charger is that they don't sell it as a cable but rather as a 'USB stick'.

SO. Lesson of the story: buy MFI-certified Apple Watch chargers. Luckily for me, #Shopee 's return process is a freaking breeze - I clicked a button, filled in the return form, and arranged a pickup for tomorrow where their driver will come and take the parcel back from me, and have my refund approved the same day. Even then, just not worth the hassle. Fuck #Mcdodo (what a name, these brands).

Funktioniert immer noch. Für den Trick braucht man 1x Keyboard, 1x Maus, 1x Rescuezilla, 1x Speichermedium, hat aber nur 3 USB-A Ports (also USB-Hub dran, wenn kein USB-C Kabel da ist), zusätzlich muss im BIOS der Watchdog deaktiviert und USB-Boot aktiviert werden. Wenn man ein Backup vom Startmedium hat, kann man das auch auf eigenes Risiko überschreiben, ohne es ausbauen und ersetzen zu müssen.

in den Systeminformationen kann ich sehen, dass jetzt mit dem guten #Kabel von #Ugreen angeblich 15 W am #MacBook anliegen und es nicht lädt. Die letzten Minuten, als es geladen hat, lagen angeblich 8 W an.

Mit dem Billo-Kabel liegen immer 8 W an, und dann lädt es auch.

Vielleicht glaubt das gute Kabel und der Chip da drin, dass es irgendwie was simulieren muss, was gar nicht da ist?

Denn das Ladegerät kann nur max. 12 W.

Wenn man mit 45 oder 65 W das MacBook lädt, dann merkt man keine Probleme/Unterschiede.

Aber an einem der Tische, an dem ich arbeite, liegt noch ein älteres Netzteil von Anker, das mit ca. 12 W lädt (das reicht meist gerade so, dass mein MacBook nicht leer wird).

Aber mit dem neuen Kabel lädt mein MacBook einfach gar nicht. 👎

Mit meinem alten Billo-Kabel am gleichen Ladegerät jedoch schon.

Ist sowas normal?
