I love watching #YouTube and support my favorite channels via #Patreon, #kofi etc. But I'll never pay for #YouTubePremium. The day #Google makes #adblocking impossible, I'll just stop watching.

Why? Google wants “growth” at all costs. Premium may prevent ads now. But once every user pays for premium, once they've “captured the market”, they will introduce “premium ads”. They will raise prices. They'll do whatever the #enshitification playbook says to keep increasing profits. [1/2]
