All Voyagered out in The West Country. Quick hop and then a skip, jump and we'll be at Undisclosed Sekrit Location X.
Sadly, Barry was not able to do this trip so he's on Home Security and cat cuddling duties

OK. Back on Cursed Island. We're at about 20hrs of wakefulness since our wake up, breakfast and leaving our hotel.
So, we've been on the go all day and it's starting to catch up as we Uber the last leg.

Arrived at Milan Malpenza, by surprise extra bonus train! (We expected bus transfer).
Total distance getting railed on this tour comes to 1,130 miles ๐
Am I train nerded out? No.
Do I need a rest, yes!
Just got a flight & then a last jump home.
Back to work tomorrow with a whole heap of memories, photos and stories.
We'll pull together the best photos and I'll upload some video sometime soon (when we're not ded & had time to review/process it all).
Ok. Milan Centrale.
Even more *everything* than I expected but also too tired and easily overwhelmed to actually want to stay, fight the crowds and get the photos. I did get a few tho.
There'll be a next time, and I'll plan for spoons and time to do this properly...

This is the trip I've been cursed to go backwards.. pretty much every train I've had facing backwards with the exception of Bernina.
Oh well....

New Train Operating Company has entered the game.... New challenger... Trenord!

Setting up for the last train of this trip - Tirano to Milan. Kinda sad, but excited for the chance to see the cathedral that is Milan Centrale

It feels like a revelation, but really it's not.
But public transport here Just Works.
Regular, frequent, reliable bus service, trains when they say.
I'm impressed

Good morning folks. So, it's the last day of this adventure. So I'm a bit sad, as I wake up to a bubbling river, blue skies and gorgeous mountains.
Tomorrow, I wake up and it's notloB.
But first, we gotta get home. And that's going to involve a ride on the UNESCO World Heritage railway - the Berninalinie.
Getting much more altitude at Ospizio Bernina 2,253 meters (7,392 feet) above sea level. So, literally the high point of the trip.
And then on to Milan & fly home

If I said I had some video from this spot, would folks want to see it?

And the view across town... The stream of running water sounds so relaxing!
#AmTravelling
Oh. Yeah. I even got to touch snow today... We're about at that height. And tomorrow, we go higher before eventually heading home

The travelling day ends at 79 miles (62miles on the rails, the reminder by bus) in Sils.
Being out of season, the hotel is quiet so I'm taking the opportunity to just stop and rest in the panorama lounge on the top floor.
The views to my left and right..
#AmTravelling
Ok, it's one thing to see this on YouTube, but actually being here... Wow!

Passports stamped, souvenirs got. Onward! (And upwards...)

Good morning peoples! Today we head towards the high Alps, starting here in Vaduz at 455m above sea level, we're gonna gain altitude as we end up at 1,809m when we reach our end goal of Sils. I'm running out of storage space says Google but we'll see how snap-happy I get...

118 miles on the rails today has seen us from magical Basel through a surprisingly relaxing Zug, Zurich HB (Train Nerd paradise!) and to such a chill, amazing place as Vaduz.
I also got my steps in (3miles) exploring and just trying to take in this place. It really is so chill and unique. Definitely somewhere I want to keep memories of.
I, absolutely, recommend that you should come and see this lovely corner of Europe.
Tomorrow, the journey continues...
When snow tipped peaks literally rise up out of the ground before you - a short 15min walk to the edge of Vaduz.
It's quiet, chilled and thankfully, cooling down...
