„Confess, Fletch” to całkiem sprawnie zrealizowana komedia, jakich już się nie robi.

Byłem ciekaw, jak Jon Hamm przejmie postać po Chevym Chasie i ku mojemu zaskoczeniu, gra go bardo podobnie. Powinno mi to przeszkadzać w teorii, ale Hamm jest na tyle zręcznym aktorem, że mu się ta sztuka udała.

Jedna scena mnie ujęła szczególnie: kiedy rozmawia z sąsiadką i ta zawala go (i nas!) morzem informacji istotnych dla fabuły, a jednocześnie w tle dzieje się mnóstwo śmiesznych rzeczy i nadążenie za jedną rzeczą jest wyzwaniem, a są dwie naraz!

Nic bardzo głębokiego, ale polecam na niezobowiązujący wieczór.

Two really wonderful films from 2022 #GlassOnion and #ConfessFletch. Both deserved far greater cinema releases. And both are just an absolute delight to watch.

Confess, Fletch (2022): This one was a lot of fun. Loved the style of humor and Jon Hamm does a great version of the character. Love the supporting cast and the overall vibe. It's really too bad that this failed to take off, because I think it would have been great to see a follow-up to this. #fletch #confessfletch

Additionally, do yourself a favor and watch what is probably the most underrated movie of 2022: Greg Mottola's excellent adaptation of CONFESS, FLETCH. Truer to Mcdonald's books than the Chevy Chase movies and perhaps Jon Hamm's best lead performance. I liked it a lot more than GLASS ONION, which is saying something.
