Our back yard backs up to a nature preserve.

Often, Benjamin Franklin Cat III’s dearest wish is to get out of our house and into the nature preserve so that he may be eaten.

He will often run outside when we open the door. On the few occasions where we don’t notice we will find him screaming loudly to be let back in, because he realizes he done fucked up.

This doesn’t stop him from sitting at the back door and yelling at us to let him out because *this* time it will be different.
