#pupdate #Eloise We went for two long walks today. First we went North and saw squirrels and ducks. Later we went South and played in the dogpark. She's tired out now for a few hours. We'll probably get away with just a couple of 20 minute pee pee walks later. She asks to go out now by going to the door but she'll use the peepad in a pinch.
Last summer school trip today. Bowling again.
4 working days to go till vacation.

#Pupdate #Eloise So I now believe that she is not a labrador mix but a Black Mouth Cur. I hadn't heard of them before, I used a breed ID app, but I had noticed some behaviors that didn't strike me as lab-like. She has the more athletic build, the narrower tail and longer legs and she's not a retriever, she's not that pushed about chasing a ball she's much more of a hunter, she's getting better but she goes nuts when we're on the scent of a small furry thing. She's fine with small dogs though.
I feel like the universe has conjured up the perfect dog for me. She's a combination of some of my favorite dogs past. She's doing so well, learning routines super quick, getting over fears, playing so nicely with other dogs in the dogpark and basically exercising herself there, tearing around with other dogs. She needs a lot of brisk walks, we're putting in a lot of steps with her but the destructive behavior has already diminished greatly and she can sit and wait for food. #Eloise #Pupdate

We went to the dogpark, and she was initially very nervous of all the dogs that came over to meet her, but she sat and watched for a while and then slowly, tentatively started playing tip and chase with some of them. Within 5 mins, she was happily tearing around with all the other dogs. This is a good place for her. She'll be a regular here.
She has also figured out how to open the sliding door of my closet, use her paw to open the drawer within, and help herself to my socks.

Eloise van Oranje heeft genoten van de Pride in Amsterdam. Op Instagram blikte de dochter van prins Constantijn en prinses Laurentien terug op de Canal Parade. De 23-jarige stond op de boot van Adam Toren.

She did settle and sleep well eventually, though. And she didn't beg while we were eating, so yay for that. She hasn't made a sound yet.
Today,, we'll go on a super long walk. This pup needs to be tired out. We'll stop by a petshop and find something that takes a long time to chew.
