The Long Point evacuation zone has been rescinded.
As of this morning the ODF Incident Management Team (IMT) reports that crews are continuing to line the fire, which did not grow in the last 24hrs. Although not fully contained, most of the fire is a "mop-up" operation.
The BLM has issued closures of the affected areas around the fire as well as the Lone Pine and Big Bend campgrounds.
ODF IMT officials encourage people in the area to continue to be aware of the fire activity and the potential for hot spots to start up. Please report any smoke or other indications of fire per Grant County Emergency Management
