We had another big turnout for the national protest this last Saturday! The wind was crazy but the rain held off until we were done. We had about the same amount of people was last time, close to 300. Not bad for a deep red state. There were so many honks of approval from drivers.

We went to the local protest in Elm Grove, WV on Saturday 4/19! Surprised yet happy at how many showed up since it was a holiday weekend. I think it was a pretty good turnout considering. Again, more positive honking, thumbs ups, waving than the dumpers calling us fascists or giving us middle fingers.

The funniest/stupidest interaction during the protest today was a middle-aged white guy in a huge truck who stopped at the intersection, rolled down his window, and idled his truck for ten seconds before finally yelling "Go away!" and roaring off.

I'm 100% sure his words would have been a lot more offensive if he hadn't been facing a wall of older white women.

We laughed at him. He deserves to replay that in his head over and over and burn with humiliation. Pathetic.
