#T00t means I’ve caught up on my timeline, like inbox zero, I’ve been doing so much else and my timeline is bulging it’s been hard to achieve lately.

OMFG! #T00t! It’s been a struggle recently, what with all the #MARCHintosh and #GlobalTalk chatter, to keep on top of my timeline.

I wonder how long I’ll be able to maintain it…

Huzzah! At midday exactly, my Saturday morning long lie in resulted in me achieving #T00t I think for the first time this week.

And I don’t have much else planned for today, certainly not useful productivity!

@fozztexx finally caught up to this thread on my timeline, I didn’t look closely and see that you had CC’ed me earlier and I thought it was a reply to one of our other threads.

I’m aiming for #T00t before I get out of bed this morning.

I’ve been mostly maintaining #T00t since my last report – maybe get a day or two behind, but never a long way behind for a long time.

I’ve slowly added mutes for topics where I can (would love multi-level mutes, maybe I’m just missing something), added a couple of Follows.

I may go through again and find some more mutuals.

I’m keeping up with my timeline much better at the moment, so #T00t days are much more common.

If you follow me and I don’t follow back, please understand I am managing my cognitive load and tempering my desire to keep up with everything.

I’m liberally using “mute boosts” and muting some accounts which are regularly boosted by you fine folks, with the same aim of reducing my self-induced pressure to read everything on my timeline.

All that said, I love this place :)

On a wholly scientific 10 minute sample, I’m just under 6.5 hours away from getting through my ~7 day timeline to achieve #T00t, plus the 20-25 an hour coming in as I go.

I’m actually feeling pretty sanguine about it. Doesn’t feel overwhelming and I know I’ll get a chance to catch up between this weekend when I’m home alone and during #OzKFest2023.

I think recalibrating my expectations and experience with social media through Masto has helped this calmer response to my timeline #MastoChill

Now I’m just over a 7 day timeline away from #T00t…I’ll have opportunities to catch up over the coming couple of weeks, esp. while I’m at #OzKFest2023, organised by @Roughana, newly arrived on the Fediverse! #AppleIIForever!

I’m now just over a five day timeline away from #T00t – it’s been slowly creeping up since my last T00t post.

It doesn’t feel like daily posting volume has increased, but my available scrolling time has certainly been more limited.

It’s OK, though – I’m not feeling as stressed as I used to.

I’ve also been more seriously considering deleting my currently-dormant FB account. I may set up a placeholder group/page admin account for the one or two of those I might need to tend to occasionally.

I keep seeing people say they miss seeing news as they did on Twitter, especially breaking news. I’m still a three day timeline away from #T00t, and am often 12-24 hours away (as I often was on Twitter) ain’t nothing breaking about the news I’ve seen on any of my timelines over the last 3 years!

Dropping further and further away from #T00t – currently almost 3½ days behind. On holidays, lots going on.

#T00t’s about a “two day timeline” away. It’s been creeping up on me all week. It’s only partly due to me replacing “not getting to my RSS feed reader anymore” to either following accounts here or using mastofeeder.com to integrate my “keeping up to date” reading. It’s only partly due to a couple of extra follows. It’s only partly due to being less sick so less stationary. It all adds up. I’ve already ditched FB, Slack and Discord. How do people get anything else done?! #SocialNetworkOverload

@europlus oh gosh I just read your #T00t posts, sounds exhausting. I gave up on T00t a while ago, except for a high priority list. Lists are good, I recommend them!
