Nalot kormoranów na Warszawę
Na zamieszczonej wcześniej fotografii Zamku Królewskiego z widoikiem na Stare Miasto widać na Wiśle gigantyczne stado czarnych ptaków. To kormorany. Trudno zliczyć ale są ich setki. Siedzą na łasze piasku pokrytej śniegiem i odpoczywają po łowach pustoszących rzekę z ryb. Pewnie przyleciały z Mazur gdzie mróz zlodził jeziora i odciął ptaki od pożywienia.

In the previously posted photograph of the Royal Castle with a view of the Old Town, a huge flock of black birds can be seen on the Vistula River. These are cormorants. It is difficult to count them, but there are hundreds of them. They are sitting on a snow-covered sandbank, resting after hunting fish in the river. They probably flew in from Masuria, where the frost froze the lakes and cut the birds off from their food source.
