Sony PlayMemories (Imaging Edge Mobile) app is complete shame
Camera supports Wifi Direct
Camera has clean instructions how connect it with Wifi Direct
Camera sets access point beginning from "DIRECT-" and supports 2 parallel wifi interfaces
Camera successfully connects with Wifi Direct with ip addres as in access point mode. It even have separate button and sound signals for it!!!
...
but... Imaging Edge does not have any wifi direct option
It breaks wifi connection and tries connect to AP as regular client
And... It fails if camera is already connected with Wifi Direct
And it is not particular version issue, i tried many versions and it behaves the same...

It seems, hardware developers implemented feature, but android app developers failed it successfully.

So, to use this feature, i need download sdk (seems to be unavailiable in russia???) and reimplement this app from scratch!

WHAT A SHAME, SONY???

We just tried out our collaborative text-editor Reflection on a smartphone using @postmarketOS and are a bit blown away by how cool that was. All it took was to install it via the Flathub store.

Cloudflare just published a vibe coded blog post claiming they implemented Matrix on cloudflare workers. They didn't, their post and README is AI generated and the code doesn't do any of the core parts of matrix that make it secure and interoperable. Instead it's littered with 'TODO: Check authorisation' and similar
