If you're still using Chrome for performance reasons:
- Firefox is now faster than Chrome out-of-the-box
- Firefox uses less memory than Chrome
- Contrary to Chrome, Firefox does not restrict Ad blockers, which will make your browsing experience much faster (and safer).
I found another use for those 1.2" 240px × 240px round LCDs.

I find people who are good all of the time a bit tiring. I like a little dark in a person.
@peter ...AirBnB **is** destroying rental markets worldwide.
Wil Wheaton posted this earlier today. When AMPTP says their hands are tied, they’re full of shit.
Check it out, #StarTrek fam.

working in technology for very long is the constant experience of everyone around you enthusiastically jumping on bandwagons that you would rather take a flamethrower to
It's 14 days since tiny little Orbit had his right eye removed as it ruptured.
As you can see he is very bright and happy despite having virtually no vision at at.
Orbit remains in intensive care on our Critical Care Ward Bradford Cat Watch Rescue & Sanctuary .
Thank you to everyone who supports us and helps us help cats and kittens like Orbit.
In 1997 a #graffiti #cat by the name of M. Chat (Monsieur Chat or Mr. Cat) began showing up in #France. In 2004 Chris Marker made a #film ("Chats Perchés" or "The Case of the Grinning Cat") that features M. Chat and made connections to the #political and #social situation of the post-9/11 world.
M. Chat, who is a yellow, chubby cat, is famous for his large, toothy #grin. He appears typically on chimneys and rooftops, but also in many other places.
This is a horrendous situation to be in. The deep sea is a huge & biodiverse wilderness. These nodules can take two MILLION years to form. We absolutely do not need minerals from the seabed - battery designers are designing them out - and it will be almost impossible to monitor the significant damage that mining would cause. We must say no.

@marioguzman I think this would bug me even more. Really? You want my HEALTH data??!!
Found something remarkable (and also quite sad).
In 1997, Wired published "The Long Boom", a hyper-optimistic article about how we'd achieve Utopia by 2020.
The authors included notes on some "scenario spoilers"—negative events that might send is in a worse direction.
...and those spoilers turned out to be almost spookily accurate.
