How I would improve the movie which I just saw: Mission: Impossible

Step one: cut about an hour and a half of pointless exposition out of it.

Step two: Tom Cruise comes on at the beginning and says, "look, never mind why, I have to dive into a submarine and escape. Then we're gonna have a chase with airplanes. It'll be great." Just show that part.

Also quit messing with the time signature. 5/4 or get out.
