Google's AI tool should just not. Reddit is a wonderful source for advice *if* you can discern shitposting from earnest advice but not otherwise.

Screenshot of "gray v. grey color" google search, with the AI Overview displaying grey as a more cool-toned swatch, and gray as a more warm-toned swatch, as if the distinction is more than just that American's use an a instead of an e.
Further research revealed that the AI relied upon an image it lifted from a reddit post of dubious motives.

Prosecco bottles, exercise bikes, leaf blowers, alpacas (plush) and more! It was another week of consumer product recalls and safety warnings.

On Friday a driver killed a 63 year old cyclist who had lived in Garfield most of his life

Our hearts go out to our neighbor whose life was cut short while biking around his own neighborhood and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends

Woodstock the water shuttle needs an unscheduled repair and will not be in operation on Tuesday, Sept 23 for at least the morning and the early afternoon. SF Bay Ferry is working to quickly make the repair and hopes to have Woodstock back in service by late Tuesday afternoon. Get updates from sanfranciscobayferry.com/#bay- #alameda #woodstock

@epu soiled dove at radium runway on the point I think (the soiled dove is in the big red circus tent that’s out there right now).

Noticed someone we know is remodeling/repainting their house, and left these gaping openings at their future light hookups. Some advice from a beekeeper: don't do this! It's a perfect entry for a bee swarm to your wall cavity. (Also true for termites and mice). #random #advice

@epu as opposed to the trucks that are often just parked in this section half up on the curb blocking the sidewalk too

@ascentale #BikeNite A1 posting from #Alameda this lovely cool evening and glad the temp came down from yesterday! Heartwarming? Cute pets and good kids.

@ascentale #bikeNite A8 well, this is my bike picture of the week. Don’t recommend having a flat tire.

The bottom few inches of a very flat bike tire looking deflated and wrinkled against a dry grass/sidewalk rough ground background.

#BikesBuildCommunity thread:

The bike ride home from school dropoff this morning was a really neat example of how riding bikes for transportation can help foster social connections.

I rode back with a friend who is also a parent. This is already great. Additionally on the way back, we saw many of the "regulars" and not "regulars" riding through as well.

Strong Return to Oz vibes earlier this summer at Legoland.

Collection of 5 boulder-sized fake rocks on a grassy hill. Rocks have faces (impressions for mouths and eyes) very similar to rocks that are Goblin King’s minions in 1980s movie Return to Oz.
