Risk of injury while biking in London drops dramatically

“Analysis of our last full year of verified data in 2024 shows that the risk of being killed or seriously injured while cycling in London decreased by 23 per cent from our 2010-14 baseline, while the risk of being killed while cycling has more than halved."

The city also intends to address the problem of useless traffic signals at Oxford Circus by pedestrianizing the area.

Do you find the Bay Trail narrow and congested?

Bayside Council is proposing upgrading a narrow section between Dendy St and Green Point. The shared trail will be split into a side-by-side cycling trail and pedestrian trail, partially situated on a new boardwalk.

This is item 12.2 on the agenda for Tuesday 17th February.

Bicycled Root River Trail on a warm day for here. 3 bicyclists, 3 dog walkers, 1 walker, and a person in camouflage clothing with a rifle (hunting season for what now? Isn"t deer hunting by rifles over?).

Yesterday a track team was running. One of them in short sleeves and shorts. Brr. Too cold for me. I'm still wearing 3 layers on the warmer day today.
