Between Two Fires was also great but I felt near the end that it was rushing a bit. I think it could have been a bit better about revealing Delphine’s goal (whether she understood it or not) earlier, cause most of the book feels simply like distressing events happening on an aimless journey.

This month I finished Maus 1 & 2 and Between Two Fires. Maus was beautifully told. It balanced the modern portions and the flashbacks to Poland really well and I loved how it had moments that said so much in a panel or two. It was amazing to read such a unique survivors story too.

I’m currently getting over a cold and it’s so weird when you can straight up feel your body ejecting all the mucus it was holding onto to fight the sickness because it’s done now

I saw 2 of the Nosferatu films, Jeepers Creepers, and Frankenhooker. I’m about half way through Between Two Fires and I read a bunch of comics (at the start of the month).

How was everyone’s October? Wish I got more reading done and movies watched but it is what it is.
