We also have white squirrels. The fact that the hawk will pick off an underground mammal rather than a white squirrel should tell you exactly how fucking mean them white squirrels are. I watched a white squirrel chew up a 10 penny nail and spit out a barbed wire fence. I shit you not.
My neighborhood hawk is vivisecting a mole in my front yard.

When I was a teenager in the 2000s I somehow got the opportunity to interview the drummer from Minor Threat for a hardcore zine.
I asked him for his advice for young musicians. He said “you’re not going to listen to this advice because you don’t think it’s cool, and one day you’ll regret it, but always wear earplugs.”
I didn’t listen.
Didn’t think it was cool.
Permanent ear damage by my mid 20s.

Some of us are aware that -40° Celsius is also -40° Fahrenheit. It's the only point where the two scales agree.
But did you know there are palindrome temperatures and they're very useful also!
16° Celsius = 61° Fahrenheit
28° Celsius = 82° Fahrenheit
@scheidegger she’s got them Waffle Ju Jitsu skills.
I eat at Popeyes and Waffle House mostly in hope of working on my grappling skills. Scattered, smothered, covered, and chunked is how I like the floors and the chairs.
New family motto just dropped...

@karlstanley @eoins do we pronounce it “you vee?”
So my kid tells me she feels like I don’t give her enough privacy.
That’s ridiculous.
Well she didn’t actually tell me that to my face. She wrote it in her journal. But still.
@MikeKSmith I don’t specify 😁
