It's with great sadness I have to share the news that Terence passed away earlier today. Thank you to everyone who had wished him well, he was much loved by me and many more and he will be greatly missed -From Angela, Terence's wife

It's been feeling very touch and go whether I'd make it to 2025, but make it I have! So whatever you have planned tonight, I wish you all a Happy New Year, and hope the year ahead is a great and prosperous one!

Merry Christmas to you all! Christmas isn't quite how we had hoped it would be here this year, but we are still making the best of it as a family, and hope that whatever you may have planned makes for a great day too!

The good news is I am finally out of hospital.

The bad news is that being back home where I have a baseline, it's now quite clear just how downhill I've gone in such a short space of time.

Keep everything crossed for me as I need it. You know I love you all regardless!

Heading out into Manchester to join the DotNetNorth/Umbraco Manchester lot for the Christmas social. It's always good to see the local crew!

(Yes, how well I manage this evening will be the real test for whether or not I do Umbraco London on Thursday too)

I have been hoping to make it to both the DotNetNorth/UmbManchester social on Tuesday and the Umbraco London Quiz on Thursday. But the way the health is acting since the weekend I'm definitely going to have to play it by ear unfortunately. Still keeping everything crossed for now!

It was a bit of a battle getting down here today with the storm aftermath, but once I've committed to something there's no stopping me. :p And I'm glad I did as it was a great evening at @umbristol , with excellent talks from Matt and Owain containing a lovely mix of humour and insight! #umbraco

I'm not planning to drop Mastodon just because Bluesky is the current flavour of the month. But what this will hopefully do is patch up that remaining gap in people meaning I've been having to crosspost between Twitter and Mastodon for the past year. Bluesky can replace that second platform instead of Twitter.

@joe I had forgotten all about this aspect of pets, however with the addition of the new kittens to our household since last month I am rapidly remembering it all again!
