Yes to that end I tried to design an alternative accounting unit based on the Ecological Footptint.

Any group of people, organisation or country/ region can invoke it ss long as their combined EF is less than 1.5 gha/head. It can measure "cost" effectively but "value" would be determined by the people involved via a market.

It would have to float on a raft of collective consensus around accounting conventions, exactly like conventional money does.

Slow and steady is good but the format of Mastodon m8ght be making migration slower than it need be. And the fediverse also seems to demand a little more IT literacy than the one size gits all BS.

Its taking time for me to get into Mastodon, I should look into it a bit more eg posting across platforms.
