I think I found a puzzle
Those days when you gotta run everything at once (And somehow your 10 years old computer doesn't melt in the process)
Did not expect to play Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and be reminded of Balan Wonderworld
I turned 32 yesterday and this puts me at the perfect age to play Clair Obscur Expedition 33. I think it's about time I started it
These past weeks some people praised my art skills, my programming skills and my design skills in completely different contexts. As someone going down the #solodev route, this gives me the confidence that I often lack, specially in terms of art. I hope I can find a future in this
I keep playing so many games before Metaphor deapite knowing that Metaphor is the greatest game in existance even without knowing a single thing about it. I no longer understand why I'm hesitating so much to play it, I don't think the ideal conditions will happen anytime soon
@TomF Yeahhh heating is a concern, I would need to think of buying an external cooler if I go that way
Any opinions on using a Rog Ally as a desktop? My desktop is dying and I figured I could buy one and a docking station to use it that way, but I'm still not sure
Bought all this #digimon stuff just in the last week
IT'S NOT JUST A PHASE
Got home from #gamescom latam, it was so so great, saw so many friends presenting their game at the stands. I wonder how much longer will it be until I can do the same~
@glassbottommeg I don't find roguelikes much fun, personally speaking, but I did enjoy a lot what dicey dungeons does in that regard. It has a ton on replayability, but it's not that random at all. Each character has a different skill set, each with different 6 levels of complexity, but for each one you have a challenge somewhat handcrafted for the skill set you picked, but still with a certain level of randomness. I played so many runs in it, I find it a great reference
I already have too many RPGs in my backlog. Please France don't make that list even bigger
A single day working on #Krita with the Timelapse recorder thing turned on
Not enough people are talking about the L and R buttons at the back of the Switch 2 Pro Controller. I've already used a controller with those. I hate them
The more I think about it, the more I feel tempted to buy a Steamdeck. Not just for gaming, but I wanna show my own game around, I want to hook it up on a dock and use it as a portable computer, I want to use it along with a portable monitor to present my game on cons
The roguelike-like structure sets the pace at which you will find about those keys and solve those mysteries, I think it's fundamental for the game to work, but this is making me question what truly defines a puzzle. btw, I don't mean to undersell the game, it's very good and I couldn't stop playing until finishing it!
I have finished Blue Prince. Very interesting game, I definitely suggest for anyone who is into... brainy games. It was sold to me as a puzzle, but I do feel like it's more a game about secrets. A lot of your time will be spent finding keys and doors, literal or not, and the challenge is line up keys and doors in the same day. You do so by drafting rooms in the grid, but while it demands a lot of strategy, I also have a hard time calling that mechanic a puzzle
@thomastc Do you mean this one? https://github.com/godotengine/godot-proposals/discussions/7029
I wasn't aware of it! I might give the subject some more thought and later post a comment there, although my hopes of actually changing anything are thin
