@RSNStats From Worcester to Boston? My mom made a similar move with her family back in the 1930s. Worked out pretty well for her. Hoping the same for Marcelo.

So Joe Biden was allegedly feeble and absent minded, but he still ran the country well and not into the damn ground like Donald Trump? I’d take Biden over this mess day.

The fascism playbook hasn't changed—only the speed we're flipping through its chapters.

@ZLabe Apparently Trump's crew thinks that if they don't measure it, global warming will stop. They had a similar strategy for Covid-19. We saw how that worked.

Everyone in #infosec must be grinding their teeth and laughing at the same time

The communications app used by U.S. President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, Mike Waltz, said Monday that it had suspended services following a reported hack that exposed some of its messages.

Portland, Oregon-based Smarsh, which runs the TeleMessage app, said in an email it was “investigating a potential security incident” and was suspending all its services “out of an abundance of caution.”

A Reuters photograph showed Waltz using TeleMessage, an unofficial version of the popular encrypted messaging app Signal, on his phone during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Of course, it’s not any “unofficial version” of #Signal - apparently, some company from Oregon took Signal source code and ran their own “corporate” instance which it had marketed to the #Trump officials in ways that I don’t really want to speculate about. But because their definition of “corporate” seemed to be focused on “low cost” rather than more widely accepted “high level of security”, they were hacked.

This is a bit surprising. The American petroleum industry, who seeded Trump’s campaign, rely on the information the EIA gathers.

The Trump administration has eliminated or stifled critical data at dozens of federal agencies. Now the administration’s actions are hitting a new realm: the energy industry.

@AndrewHenry I have long relied on EIA for data on the US energy sector that you just cannot find anywhere else. When I send a check to the IRS on April 15, I tell myself it is going to support EIA and the Chemical Safety Board, and I feel good about it. I hate that it has been hit by the Trump-Musk meat clever.

When the WH calls Fox “fake news” you know it’s jumped the shark.

A tweet from Aaron Rupar (@atrupar
) posted 13 hours ago reads: "Eric Bolling asks Leavitt if Trump might sue Fox News for their polling. Leavitt calls it a 'great question' and after a long rant about Joe Biden accuses Fox of publishing 'fake polls'." The tweet includes an image from an RSBN broadcast in Washington, D.C., showing four people seated on a panel, with a ticker at the bottom: "RING COLUMBUS DAY 'BACK FROM THE ASHES' RUBIO SENDS STRONG MESSAGE ON TRUMP."

This is sobering, but worth reading if you want to understand how badly Trump is destroying the economy. Just data. And entirely Trump-inflicted. apolloacademy.com/wp-content/u
