There are a few reasons for this, but basicaly, I got quite a severe clinical diagnosis this year that is limiting my interest and ability to participate on social media.

I'm not gone completely yet, but that's just how it is.

My {ICD10gm} package has now been updated on CRAN.

{ICD10gm} provides the complete data for the German modification of the ICD-10 classification. It provides a workflow and functions for their use in secondary data analysis.

Alongside the data for the year 2023, the update adds convenience functions to quickly look up ICD-10 codes, either directly in the console or by opening the official documentation in a browser.

Reporter @tfeathers and engineer @simon confirmed that GoodRx—which the FTC filed a proposed court order against this morning—was still sending health data to advertising platforms as of just last night.

Specifically, a medication’s name, dosage, and the quantity ordered was sent to Google Ads:

The NHS is a national institution in the UK. Questioning of its funding model has previously been tabu.

So it's interesting to hear former Health Secretaries from across the political spectrum asking openly whether the NHS should move to a European-style social insurance model.
