@itzyg no, that's getting pretty romantic tbh. You should do at least 6 so it becomes a normal, casual thing.
^ that's me ^
I'm a man on a mission to see how much time spent playing video games is "too much", and how subtlety I can make a bad joke without people noticing.

Filling my head with fictional space politics so I have no room for real politics. I made a pirate empire and they're hilarious and make me happy.
Just got whiplash from an add for a shirt brand called untuckit because for a moment I didn't know what it was for and my first thought was "okay girl damn live your truth wait why is this on my tv"
Me playing as a genocidal empire in #stellaris after threatening every empire I meet with annihilation
So it turns out the rest of the galactic community was building an army to kill me and I lost. Oh well, time for something new.
I've gotta thing bigger this time, more evil, be a larger threat. I think I'm going with terravores, dead set on consuming all matter in the galaxy. That's a much larger threat; a swarm of rocks with mouths consuming the mountains and the earth, down to the core until there's nothing left.
Sounds like a blast 😃
Been on a huge stellaris kick recently. The most fun game that I'm very bad at, but I'm kinda killing it right now with my robot empire dead set on ending all life in the galaxy (determined exterminator). Right now I'm working on upping my unity so I can BE the final boss instead of fighting one (leaning towards galactic nemesis but might go with cosmogenesis idk).
Huge fun. Great distraction.
I started playing #starlink a few days ago and it's actually pretty good. It does the whole space sim song and dance but in a way that feels more like a video game than a very pretty spreadsheet. It's on a smaller scale so it's more rewarding to explore. The characters are fine, but I'm pretending this is a starfox game so I don't really care. A little annoyed at the toy spaceship gimmick since I'll have to find new weapons on ebay or something. But I'm enjoying it.
@itzyg I mean it could, but it would be a lot creepier imo
I don't know how I missed it but I recently hit a milestone on my bike. I've rode it 1000 miles in a little over a year. It's honestly a little emotional thinking back, not knowing if I made the right decision investing in an e-bike. Especially after getting hit by a car on my old bike, I wasn't sure if I'd commit to it or if it would just turn into another interest collecting dust.
But after riding through every season, weather event, and time of day, I'm proud I made it this far.
@JTO_is_Typing it seems like you use it without a wiimote and it fits in the wiimote slot snuggly. It also has a USB port facing out so you can hook it up to something while it's in there. I'm not exactly sure how it works in practice because I'm still waiting for it to come in the mail, but here's a link to it:

It was a little dongle that lets any guitar controller work with any console. Without a console restriction, I did a little digging to see what is considered the best guitar controller overall, and I was very surprised to learn it was the Wii controller I already owned! So I returned the $130 Fortnite event guitar, and now I've only spent 20 bucks on the dongle. It even has a nunchuk port, so it can be used with Wii controllers.
Sometimes technology is just magical to me. 2/2
I decided recently to rekindle an old flame: Guitar Hero. I bought a GH game for the first time in my life (my parents bought the ones I own for the Wii over a decade ago) because I heard that Warriors of Rock might be better than GH3. Decided to get it for an HD console and splurge on a new guitar controller. Riffmaster was recommended to me, so I got the Xbox version of that controller. It didn't work on the 360 though so I had to trouble shoot, and I found something magical. 1/2
One of the funniest things to me is when someone says Dracula, but as a substitute for vampire. Like "Oh, look at all those draculas" or "he got bit by a dracula." It brings to mind a guy who's way too well dressed in a silly cape in these situations.
I think they should let me stand in front of Disney ceo Bob Iger and ask him if it's ok to pirate Song of the South. It would be really funny.
Found an XL milk crate sitting at the end of my neighbor's driveway filled with plastic hangers that you'd find in a store. My bike bag sucks and is falling apart, so I've been looking for a nice cargo basket for a while now. Decided this is perfect, so I recycled all the hangars and bolted it on. Got a net to keep things inside, too. Now I can have any kind of bag I want, and I can get groceries and take out and deliver packages. I might drill some holes in it so it fits better, but I'm happy!
I don't know why it took me so long to realize it. I've felt this way since I was a kid. But I pushed the thoughts out of my head, thinking, "Everyone feels this way." But I can't deny it anymore, I can't keep lying to myself about who I really am.
I want to own a motorhome.
I had this realization after talking to my wife and some of my friends and getting mixed feelings towards them. I've just always thought they were cool, and you can buy one used for surprisingly cheap.
@itzyg I've heard from other cyclists who wear different clothes for work and cycling that it is useful to keep some clothes at work if you can. I've been thinking of doing that too for if it rains or if I fall down a mineshaft or something.
Good song alert
