Billionaires should not exist.

Folks are treating the recent tech layoffs as something spontaneous. They were not. Apparently the current layoffs were orchestrated by hedge funds.

This hedge fund demanded that the big tech companies lay people off because they were being paid too much. Let that one sink in: a hedge fund manager saying that you're being paid too much.

Note that TCI is demanding that Google lay off more people.

16 January 1900 | A German Jewish woman, Edith Frank (née Holländer) was born in Aachen. Mother of Margot and Anne Frank.

Incarcerated in Auschwitz with her husband Otto and the daughters on 5 September 1944.

At the end of October, Edith was separated from her daughters. Margot and Anne were transported to Bergen Belsen concentration camp. Edith stayed behind in Auschwitz. At some point she fell ill, developed a high fever, and ended up in the camp infirmary.
