holy BUS, @desertbus raised over 1.25 million dollars this year! And we got the full week for the first time!

I have a semi-usual spiel but I'll keep it brief this time: So many people, from the crew and volunteers, to the donors and chat, all come together to make this event what it is, and it wouldn't be such a special Desert Bus without everyone.

@cantwearhats I mean, as an American, I agree with both of those points on the translation--it's weird English, even here. It seems like they're trying to translate the Japanese very literally, which... well, results in that.

Hot take: public transit should not be run "for profit". The profit comes from everybody getting to their destination quickly, efficiently, and predictably.

@Graham_LRR I, at least, have very much enjoyed the "try this thing out" kind of stuff you've thrown into the sub-a-thons, and based on that I can definitely say I'm very excited for what experiments you come up with in future runs (or at any other time)!

Elevator Warp is doing something weird. It's an... observation game? ish? You'll have to pay a lot of attention to get to where you're going. It does some interesting things (and a little bit of Antichamber-like stuff). I'll be poking this one more, too.

Galaxy Too Far seems like a cool factory game (like... the other three I have) but it's much, much clunkier. Or just the tutorial is extremely bad (it is), and I don't have time to figure it all out (it's late). I poked around and it seems to get in the factory game stuff a bit, but from what I've seen, I doubt it does it better than the others.
