@WiteWulf on another note and what i need (2 teenagers in the house).
A flow meter for the hot water and a valve to shut off the water.
@WiteWulf cutting the WiFi when the lid is open for more than 30 seconds?
I need advice on a sensor. I have 4 lamps on the length of my house. I want them to turn on as you walk along the house. I might need multiple sensors. I'm not sure a PIR sensor is the right solution. Does anyone have a recommendation for an outdoor sensor that would do the job. #HomeAssitant #homeautomation
@clinfoot about the lag in volume. Are you using Sonos net or your own WiFi. And let me say this, it is probably not your WiFi that is causing problems. 😀
@clinfoot to my knowledge they do the updates in waves. But i might be wrong i haven't dared to join the beta program.
@clinfoot out of interest, what issues are you having or features missing?
@kaybee335 I'm not impressed with their app. Or how they treat/handle existing customers. I just hope for the best.
My plan was to get a soundbar and a few more speakers, maybe a sub. But I'm looking into other options.
Honestly if it works Sonos is the best offer. But if you can't trust them...
@kaybee335 sorry to hear about your problems. My small system has been stable since August. But i primarily use it for Spotify and a local radio. The app works with no lag. I am aware that there are still problems. I was wondering, and not blaming your network setup, but how is your network setup? One or 2 SSID's on the WiFi? Using Sonosnet?
@kaybee335 call Sonos support to make sure they are aware of this problem.
Is Mastodon worth it? is the userbase stable or declining?
@dtauvdiodr Why not just create a google account for your sonos, to get the updates.
And then use one of the posibilities that does not involve the Sonos App. I've only heard good things about the sonophone app.
