JUST FYI... not really down, only for people that are hosted on a bluesky pds.

If you run your own PDS then everything is still working.

Right now it is mostly bridged accounts and people on their own PDS enjoying the silence

So when the initial post come out do you expect the group to be in the "cc"?

Normally what happens is the magazine "boosts" the post so you will get the post and then the boost of the post from the group actor. I'd be glad to make a change if If i knew what that was.

In mastodon, the magazine will always be empty unless some explicitly follows the magazine.

Magazines are represented as an #ActivityPub Group. The magazine actor boosts the original post from the profile into the group.

Surf will mix both bluesky an ActivityPub content into the feeds (Also rss/youtube content). It really depends on the feed definition. If you make a feed from a search or a hash tag that will apply across services.

The tabs also filter the content, for instance the "Discuss" tab will only have sources that you can reply to.

If you are logged into a bluesky and mastodon account you can interact with both services.

I’ve been completely off of all social media for the last couple of months- even Mastodon which I adore. I’ve read a lot of books, and am generally much happier!

The most common issue I see is what to enter into the login box.

- handle which for you is "owgf.bsky.social" no @ sign.
- email that is linked to your bluesky account.

After that it is use an app password if you have 2 factor auth turned on for your account.

@steffo only lower cased hashtag in the mastodon api response . I’ll review the ActivityPub object.
