With that in mind though, playing through Spotify or Apple Music, how often are you using the app?
For me the hardware is more of an endpoint in my setup rather than something I will fuss either way once it’s integrated with all the things.

I am also looking at how Sonos works with Home Assistant and from what I’m reading it’s good and proper integration.
I guess all the praise you’ve been heaping on them is well-deserved vs what Apple is doing with their speakers.

As users of HomePod and Sonos stuff I’m looking for recommendations @caseyliss & @marcoarment
In my office I have two HomePod minis that I enjoy with their paired sound. But despite thier robustness overall they occasionally drop from one or the other. And because Apple, there is no troubleshooting to figure out what’s goosed.
What Sonos gear can I get to replicate this setup? Will one Sonos work or is this a matched pair situation?

I've got most of the names with Hover, but their support has been lacking lately and I'd like to give my money to a company located closer to my timezone and geographical region. As well as they're partly US-based and I'm trying to move away from that as much as I have the power to.
