It's been fun #Mastadon but going back to the bird site. The double standard of who can post links to their work and who can't killed it for me, this place is not accessible to #Gaming Content Creators or anyone who makes video Content.

@Grort it's definitely a bit vexing because we have accounts like NBC News and other automated accounts on Mastadon posting links, which are essentially "cross posting" the terminology as to what they define as cross/posting "advertising" is vague between all the instances.

A major reason why I and many others came over in the Twitter migration before this current one was due to Twitter wanting to do away with cross posting, so you can imagine this looks less inviting than the bird now. :/

@Grort I appreciate your help but there rules are basically no Cross Posting for that instance. As a Content Creator that wants to have his Gaming Channel seperate from my personal account this doesn't help me. As I basically can not brand my Gaming channel like how it is on other social media accounts. This is a glaring flaw on Mastadon that will turn creators away.

@Hetep if we are holding Twitter accountable for the stuff that happens daily. We have to hold Matasdon accountable to the same standards. One doesn't get a free pass.

@wonkothesane ani.work server, I have a seperate Mastadon account for my Gaming Channel. This one is my personal instance since I'm aware not everyone that games wants to see me talk about NBA, Wrestling, and politics.

This is just not acceptable I expect this from #Twitter. So my Gaming Channel account got a bogus suspension from Ani Work then they email about reversal. Why would I stay with that instance after that? #Mastadon

Looking to migrate that account over to a #Gaming instance that supports Content Creators sharing their work with others. Any suggestions? #Gamer #VideoGames

Mind you when I first made my Channels #Mastadon account the aniwork server was suggested for Gaming. So that they don't support content creators showing their work is kind of a slap in the face. Is there an actual #Gaming Instance for streamers/content creators?
