Keep up with reading - this year my goal is to read at least 50 books!

I've been listening to the Disney Pandora channel over the last few weeks and it's been refreshing. And I found this song I didn't know existed! It's cheesy but sweet and made me feel good this morning after hearing it. And I think you guys might enjoy hearing it, too.

Just a simple little plant survey to do to help research. From the website itself: "Your participation will help us understand what people find beautiful in plants and why. Shout out to all the artists, writers and comedians stuck in service industry jobs who still manage to find ways to express themselves.

Posting something like "I sure am glad I don't live in the US because I don't have to worry about x, y, and z happening" has the same energy as saying to someone whose loved one just died, "I sure am glad MY loved ones haven't died because if they did here are the things I'd be sad and upset about."

Republicans have control of the Presidency, House, Senate, Supreme Court, most governorships, all or part of most state legislatures, and a significant number of federal judgeships.

Believing that in two or four years we will be able to change that electorally is to not understand what it is the Republican Party, its allies, and supporters are intending, and their plans to achieve their goals, legally.

I tried cooking tofu in a waffle iron... and it was fantastic! Seriously! I used firm tofu and cut it into three slices, about 1/2" each. I cooked each slice in the iron for 10-15 minutes, then cut them into strips, and then seasoned them with Szechuan spices and chili oil. It's a nice chewy texture with a crisp outside, sort of like chicken nuggets. #vegetarian #tofu

I'm just pissed off in general. Somehow Biden meeting with Trump at the WH, and Obama's congratulatory message, etc. etc. etc. has me climbing the walls. STOP PRETENDING THIS IS NORMAL. This isn't normal. None of this is normal. Don't give me that "when they go low, we go high" bullshit when the low is fascism!!! I have had it with party politics, party politicians- I'm reverting to my 60s and 70s. radicalism. There's no point in playing by the rules if only one side plays it that way. I've had it.

The Washington Post calls Gaetz an "outspoken ally" of Trump, and the NY Times calls naming him attorney general a "provocative move".

Now THAT is how you normalize the criminals and fascists in charge of the next U.S. government.
