Nothing brings me joy like seeing the Linux logo pop up on a former Chromebook.
@Trenton_Hoshiko Nah these seem newer. I'm using this guide: https://docs.mrchromebox.tech/docs/getting-started.html
Nothing to see here, just jailbreaking a pair of $30 Chromebooks.
Could you benefit from some #WorldofWarcraft Christmas cheer? Maybe a copy of midnight, or a few months of subscription? I'd like to help spread some smiles!
There is 1 condition: you have to be bnet friends with me for 3 days in order for me to gift (this is a blizzard rule, not mine). I'm Stargrace#1783, add me to bnet and let me know what would make this Christmas a happier time for you. No strings attached. <3

I have a job interview tomorrow at 10:30am. It would help a lot if I could afford something decent for breakfast tomorrow. $12 won't be enough to even afford dinner for the kids tonight.
If you wouldn't mind, please unboost/reboost the original post so this gets seen. I really appreciate it!
@hosford42 I like it with the ziti but also enough minced spinach to turn the cheese green.
@queenofnewyork I drink ice water to lower my body temperature enough to fall asleep.
@daedalus4096 Steam itself will run a LOT of non-Steam games, but what I use is Linux Mint. I hear good things about gaming on Bazzite as well.
Got my latest timewalker to 77 before someone dragged me down to a pity party in the Home Sweet Home showcase neighborhood. 😆 I kept coming in second or third (IDK they didn't show us the votes) in all the categories I was up for.
At least the houses that won were mostly ones I thought deserved it. Taste can be so subjective sometimes.

Oh my gosh Bissell knows their stuff.
@stargrace @kevinbrill We're doing our shopping today, as much as we can. It's the first day all week I've had a spare moment to SHOWER let alone leave the house.
@kevinbrill @stargrace The last of my kids only just handed me their lists a few minutes ago.
@Krikket If I could vote for 2, I would add the waterfall.
@adam_caudill I get the impression that the numbers don't account for people who have to work multiple jobs to pay the bills.
Pulling an all-nighter: barely a headache
Watching a 4-hour stream: bring on the migraine
(It's probably not a migraine; I'm being hyperbolic. I haven't had a proper migraine in a while.)
@stargrace What
No it couldn't
The town had a local cryptid legend, a Kataba - half-man, half-animal - that people swore was real. They held a yearly Kataba Festival. Like many such festivals, it was a way to draw people in to a town that was otherwise slowly dying.
Earnest loved the festival. He wandered the stalls enjoying the sights and sounds, the colorful merchandise. It was a wonderful day where people would say, "Great costume!" instead of fleeing in abject terror.
In a world filled with so much hate and violence, take a moment this week to go a little out of your way to make someone's life a little better, or to ease their suffering even for a moment.
We all have an opportunity to make the world around us a better place, even if for too short of a time. ❤️
