When your #Linux system requires a reboot before it will recognize an external drive and you feel let down by Linux because (a) you haven't had to reboot it for months and (b) you stopped using Windows twenty years ago and MacOS five years ago partly because of shit like having to reboot every damn time before they would recognize an external drive.
