One of my friends is a mod of a very large subreddit that went private for the blackout. Last night she received a message saying that she had been stripped of her moderator rights and the subreddit was taken public again. To be very clear, the subreddit members had specifically voted in favor of going private.

It seems like reddit will stoop lower and lower to try and break the blackout. I'm seething.

What is going on with Fortnite, got 4 wins in a row on trios and none of them seemed to count, we didn't have crowns going into next matches either. Game is so bugged at the moment. #Fortnite #bugged

Question to my #neurodivergent and #actuallyautistic fellows: Something extremely positive is happening in my life and it's so huge that I completely fail to show my joy or any emotions about it. I feel stuck in my tries to express my feelings right now and it's confusing. Yet I feel like I'm bursting. In itself it feels somewhat distressing.
Have you ever experienced something like this? Is there a name for this? And what can I do to become emotionally "un-stuck"?

@NotImpressed sadly unless Starmer is replaced I know a lot of people who will not vote Labour, he is outdated when it comes to todays issues especially trans issues. I know I won't vote for him, but I won't be voting conservative either.

@PhilippaB mine had that awful tone but spoke with an American accent which a few people seem to have noticed, it just said something like "this is a test of the alert system" you didn't miss much 😁

@PhilippaB luckily my 13 year old grandsons phone needed charging so he did not hear it, but he is Autistic and no doubt it would have made him worried. Personally I thought it was spam at first because of the American accent.

@DamonWakes I got the alert but did not get the notification that it was coming so it made me jump. Plus I thought it was some form of spam as it had an American accent.

So when the Emergency Alert Test went off yesterday my first thought was "what is that noise" my second thought when I found the source of the noise was "why is an American accent alerting me?", which led to "it must be a spam text", because surely the UK government can afford to use a British accent, we have lots to choose from. Turns out it was real, good job it wasn't an actual alert. #EmergencyAlert #test #UK
