@pierogiburo that's brutal
Life is too short to read lies that strangers write into these strange white boxes on the Internet.
@pierogiburo that's brutal
@DrewNaylor someone has already filled a bug report for the wobbly window effect
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474196
but as far as I can remember from earlier reports, it's not very easy to fix.
@DrewNaylor to be honest, that's the only reason why I don't use the wobbly window effect.
@NostalgicKitsune The op 6 is one of the best supported phone by pmOS, the Poco F1 is also very powerful and has many things working(plus if you don't want to run Linux anymore, it is also a great android 15 Phone with LineageOS) The Pixel 3a is a bit slower but it is still acceptable, being a pixel means that it also has good support for a bunch of other interesting linux distros like Droidian, Ubuntu Touch or Capyloon (a modern FirefoxOS replacement)
Non-profit that offers pre-flashed phones with the operating system of your choice

@killyourfm seems like 2025 has the potential to become the year for gaming on Linux.
How does a query to GPT-4 compare to driving a car?
A single query to GPT-4 with a 10,000-word answer size produces 450 gCO2e (*). An average UK car produces 132 gCO2e/km. So this query is equivalent to driving a car 3.4 km.
(*) https://wimvanderbauwhede.codeberg.page/articles/google-search-vs-chatgpt-emissions/ and assuming 100 words for the queries in that article; in reality it is probably closer to 30 words, but I prefer to be conservative.

nice@tuxedocomputers@linuxrocks.online I think 11.000 km is a bit far away to attend it but still

@BrodieOnLinux still cool seeing more support for Linux/steam deck
@BrodieOnLinux well good thing it doesn't show any fingers but I think we should regulate AI generated images. I think we might unleash a big power to the public and the world(and especially those who only use social media for their news) is not prepared for it.
New: Instagram has begun testing a feature in which Meta’s AI will automatically generate images of users in various situations and put them into that user’s feed. We confirmed with Meta it's real. https://www.404media.co/instagram-begins-randomly-showing-users-ai-generated-images-of-themselves/
@josephcox and yet another stupid ai thingy literally no one has asked for...
@MichaelAltfield @torproject you could try invidious. they have some tor instances that let you download the video(without js), so that you can watch it offline in your video player.
@spv it's a personal opinion but I like to have the address bar on the bottom on mobile browsers.
