Few weeks ago I treated my beloved calathea for aphids, gassing it overnight then wiping the leaves with detergent for good measure.

I was not judicious with the detergent & burned the everloving fuck out of the leaves, presumably killing the plant along with the aphids. Oopsie doopsie.

Gave it a good fertilising & waited, just in case, & lo- it lives!
