Why should I skrike? Genuinely.

So I would say that I don’t actually have a problem with my pay and conditions. Love the holidays, I’m protected if I’m sick and relieved full pay during Covid. My problem lies with leaders who push an agenda and/or procedures that simply aren’t needed. Gaining pay increases is a game and the hoops are made smaller and smaller the higher you climb. That’s a MAT problem to me (and one I’m trying to escape). So how would striking improve the bigger picture?

So we’ve been living in our house for 6 years and for the last 4 Christmas’ we have been receiving a lovely Christmas card from ‘Sue and John’ from Salisbury. Never a returns address or surnames. They have given us a 2 page run down if their year and it’s quite a read…

#eduglow One 4 year old in my class asked me today if “because it’s a doubling day, will you double our house points?” He looked scared but hopeful as the words left his mouth. I asked him to explain what doubling was to his class and then agreed that at the end of the day I would double everyones house point. Home time was absolutely euphoric 😂
